postcard_church_mon_DenmarkWhile in Denmark we visited Legoland, which I may one day get around to writing about.  The miniature Lego structures built to scale were amazing, but I was particularly struck by this one because it looked like a church I had spied out the car window on the island of Møn.

      We’ve discovered that there are more Legolands than we ever expected. Six, to be exact. California, Florida, Germany, Windsor (UK), Jahor (Malaysia) and the original in Billund, Denmark. Billund is where Lego was first created and I think there is still some manufacturing of it there too. We’ve also encountered many Lego brand shops on our travels. So yes, the Lego empire is huge and far reaching. (:

      Thanks for your comment. I’m going to have to come clean and say that there were quite a few churches with similar architecture across Denmark, so I don’t think we saw the proper original. (: There were lots of things that we had seen the proper original of though, because they had recreated many landmarks of the world, especially Scandinavia. (:
